Here is a list of unanswered questions in the Erec Rex series, and our thoughts on what the answers are. They are in chronological order by when they were first mentioned.
Who was June looking at through the Seeing Eyeglasses all those times?
Spartacus Kilroy: I think she was looking at her spouse from before she fled Alypium, possibly Ugry or (chuckle) The Hermit.
Danny Rex: Though I love the idea that she is looking at Ugry I think it is more likely that it is ether Erecs other sibling or King Piter.
Dollick: Hmm, I think she was trying to see King Piter, but because the castle was all mixed up, maybe she couldn’t get around? The gravity spell might not effect her if she wasn’t actually there, and it seems that when you wear the glasses, physics still apply! So she may have been worrying about King Piter.
Why does King Pluto always think it’s so cold?
EDIT: King Pluto thinks it’s so cold only because he lives in Aorth, an extremely hot place. Going to Alypium is quite an adjustment. Thanks to Dollick for the correction!
Who were the Stains spying on the night of the party of the first contest? This was before the minotaur fiasco.
SK: I think that they were spying on Kilroy and Ugry, making sure they wouldn’t interfere with the minotaur, which also may have been planned by them.
DR: I had assumed it was Ugry at the time, I’ll have to reread that passage.
Dollick: I thought it was to get the answers from an unaware Umpee so they could win the Pro and Contest.
How did Erec pick up Wolfboy when the rhinocerous popped out of an aniball in the prize pen?
SK: I believe that Erec has some extra powers that he hasn’t uncovered yet. One may be super strength.
DR: I mentioned the idea that royal triplets have 3 powers, Erec has more because of his eyes so maybe one is super speed or strength.
Dollick: Maybe he is really buff, but the shape changing spell used on him stopped muscle growth from showing.
What happened to Queen Hesti?
SK: I think that she managed to get away and is now in hiding.
DR: She’s in hiding.
Dollick: Yeah, she ran away.
What were Kilroy and Ugry fighting about all the time?
SK: I think that Kilroy may be smarter than he seems and is cooking up something special and unexpected. I have no idea what that might be though…
DR: Maybe Kilroy thinks Ugry is evil and is trying to get him to slip up some how.

Dollick: I think Ugry knew that Kilroy was poisoning King Piter.
Why does Ugry smell bad?
SK: I think that he may have some herbs (garlic?) to protect against threats (vampires?).
DR: It’s just part of who he is, or like Number1UrgyFan said on the forums he lives forever, so maybe that comes with a stinky curse?
Dollick: Maybe he’s so dedicated to King Piter he doesn’t take showers.
Where was King Piters scepter kept before the crowning ceremony?
SK: I think Ugry kept track of it.
DR: hmmm maybe Homer the golden gost had it.
Dollick: I think maybe those nine hooded figures were entrusted with the scepter. Its not supposed to work for anyone other than the king, so they couldn’t use it anyway. (look at page 339 and 340 of the Dragon’s Eye)
