Today is Kaza Kingsley’s birthday! We here at Port-O-Door just wanted to say a few things.

Dollick: Happy birthday! I just wanted to say thank you for all you’ve done, these books really lift the spirits of kids everywhere! You are an amazing author, and here’s to you!

Spartacus Kilroy: Happy Birthday Kaza!!! You are an awesome author, but more importantly, an awesome person, especially in the way you connect with your fans! YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Danny Rex:  Kaza! Happy Birthday! I want to say how amazing you are but you know that! Thank you for being so involved with us fans because otherwise this would have never been possible! I hope you have a very happy birthday,  have some Cloud Cream!

Ahhhhh! Like water in a dry desert… WE HAVE NEWS! Kaza has informed us that she has been very busy lately and that she loves the new site she also said:

The latest is that edits are nearly done for Book Four. The title of that
book is called The Three Furies. I’ve already given suggestions for all of
the chapter art pictures. Soon I will be starting to write Book Five!

Hey guys! If you’ve been checking here every day (or week for that matter), you’ve noticed the site hasn’t been updated in a while. Well, we just wanted you all to know that we are all incredibly busy. Not only that, but there is no news as of late.

Dollick: Hey people! Sorry I haven’t been updating the character bios section! I have all honors in school and have homework almost every night, making it hard to do this kind of thing.

Spartacus Kilroy: I’m really sorry I haven’t been updating as of late. I have a lot of stuff coming up in my life, including 4H, school, and some personal issues. However, pretty soon I’ll be able to start updating with more regularity!

Danny Rex:  Hello people, I’m so sorry I haven’t been updating the site recently and we’ve all gotten so beehind. My computer crashed three weeks ago and I just got my new one from the shop. I’m in honors English so I have a ton of work there. I am just starting work on the 3rd Port-O-Cast so keep an eye out!

Bethany:   Hey, I’m sorry!!!  I’ve been amazingly busy, I have school, so much HOMEWORK! (i bet most of you know how much i feel…).  I also have to get ready for compititions for band and I have auditions coming up.  You have no idea how much I’ve been running around.  I promise get some things on the site soon.  Thank you all so, so much for foll0wing the website!!!!!

Yes, you read right, Kaza Kingsley has sent in the first round of edits of The Three Furies to Simon and Schuster. The book is due to come out in 2010, so it’s moving ahead right on schedule! She’s been deep into edits for a while now, so it’s nice that she’s finally able to relax.

In other news, Kaza recently talked with her editor about her plans for the cover. It’s great that Kaza has a hand in this, as most authors don’t. The Search for Truth cover was released about four months before the book release, so we’ll probably be able to see the cover between September of this year and next.

It’s finally here! Though I had much difficulty through editing and trying to post it,  here it is!

It’s just Luke and I because we were the only one who had read the book other then Kaza so Clarissa couldn’t be on but she will be on the next podcast along with a newcomer to Port-O-Door.com Scott aka Dollick.

The first cover design:

It gives different things away then the newer one.

1) It emphasizes the bee way more here.

2) Behind the word Truth is Trwyth.

3) No scales.

3) Changed the border from beehives to a more floral look.

Kaza has finished writing her 4th book : The Three Furies! It is  being edited. It should be released sometime next year!! ^_^
